Personal Profile

Chen Xueqian, born in November 1951, is from Tianjin, graduated from Liaoning University. She is currently the Director of the Liaison Department of the Art Committee of the China Public Relations Association, a member of the China Artists Association, and the Honorary President of the Heze Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. In her youth, she was a disciple of the famous calligrapher Feng Yue'an from Liaoning Province, and the famous artist Su Ping from Beijing. She has been taught by them for several years, and later received guidance from renowned Chinese artists Shen Peng, He Jinghan, and Lou Bai. In recent years, her art has become more mature, and she has mainly shown landscape paintings. She has won many awards in national and international painting and calligraphy competitions. Her works have been widely circulated in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Her paintings and calligraphy have been published in domestic and foreign newspapers and magazines.
