He started learning poetry, literature, painting and calligraphy from famous teachers since childhood. At the age of thirteen, he was a disciple of the famous Tianjin painters Su Xing, Liu Yuefang, Ye Dongxu, Zhang Lichao, and also studied under Xiao Lang, Liang Qi, Dong Zhen Tao, Qi Bolin, and Wang Zhengliang.
He has been deeply interested in Chinese culture for many years, reading poetry and books, making seals and stones, and painting and calligraphy. His paintings inherit the traditional literati painting style, drawing on the strengths of many schools, with both meticulous and freehand techniques, and has solid brushwork and modeling skills. He likes to paint landscapes, flowers and birds, animals, and is skilled in ancient styles on silk. His paintings are lively in form, bold in brushwork, elegant in style, and have a remote and quiet atmosphere. In addition to painting, he has also traveled through famous mountains and rivers, traveling alone through Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Tibet Xinjiang, having visited the Five Sacred Mountains, the vast desert of Dunhuang, the Kunlun and Emei Mountains, and has climbed Mount Huang five times to observe the mountains, clouds, and pines. He nourishes his brush and cultivates his nature among the real mountains and waters, expressing his emotions and ideas!
Representing Chinese cultural artists to visit Africa, his works are permanently collected by the Chinese Embassy and Consulates, and have been exhibited and exchanged in various provinces and cities such as Beijing City, Tianjin City, Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province, Liaoning Province, Guizhou Province, Shaanxi Province, Shandong Province, etc., and have won awards.
