Personal Profile

Wang Kaiyong was born in 1986 in Gongxian, Yibin, Sichuan. He enlisted in the military in 2003 and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently a member of the Zhuanghe Artists Association, a member of the Dalian Artists Association, a council member of the Dalian Yanhuang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and a member of the China National Painters Association. Since childhood, he has had a deep passion for painting and has never abandoned his pursuit of art. By chance, he met his mentor, Master Lü Chuanwen, under whose guidance he systematically studied Chinese painting. Later, he received instruction from renowned artists such as Yu Lincheng and Liu Xiangxun, significantly improving his artistic skills. His works have been exhibited numerous times in military calligraphy and painting exhibitions and folk art exhibitions, and have been included in the Asian Culture Online website, Liaoning Calligraphy and Painting Art website, Military Political Work Network, Qianjin Daily, and the 70th Anniversary Collection of the Yanhuang Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. He has been awarded the Outstanding Talent Award of the Entire Military.
