Personal Profile

Leng Jun, born in 1963 in Sichuan. He graduated from the Art Department of the Hankou Branch of Wuhan Normal College in 1984. Currently, he serves as Deputy Director of the Wuhan Painting Academy and is a National First-Class Artist. At the closing session of the Eighth Congress of the Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles on the afternoon of September 22, 2007, Leng Jun was elected Vice Chairman of the provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. His works have been exhibited numerous times in domestic and international exhibitions and have won major awards at the National Art Exhibition multiple times, earning him widespread acclaim both at home and abroad. He is one of the most influential young artists on the Chinese mainland in recent years.
