You Guangjin

You Guangjin, artistic name You Jin, born in 1976 in Mianzhu, Sichuan, is a member of the China Association for the Promotion of Ethnic Minorities. He has been passionate about painting since childhood and graduated from the Chengdu College of Fine Arts, Sichuan Conservatory of Music. In 2009, he moved into the Beijing Songzhuang Artists Village and has been engaged in oil painting creation ever since, during which time many of his works have been collected by cultural companies and private collectors. His works primarily focus on ethnic minority figures from western China, characterized by a simple style, emphasis on light effects, and delicate rendering of facial expressions.
