Personal Profile

Zhang Mingzhu, was born in Neijiang, the hometown of Zhang Daqian, known as the "Sweet City" of Sichuan. She has loved calligraphy since childhood, beginning her studies with Yan Kai script, and later studying the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, as well as Han clerical script. She is now proficient in Yan Kai, the Cao Quan Stele, and other scripts. With many years of experience teaching calligraphy at the frontline, she has accumulated substantial expertise in foundational calligraphy education. Member of the Chinese Calligraphy Art Education Society,awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award at the 16th Chengdu Art Talent Selection Contest in 2017,awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award at the 3rd "Chinese Dream for Youth" National Youth Calligraphy and Art Competition in 2018,served as a Council Member of the Calligraphy Special Committee of the Sichuan Youth Literature and Art Federation in 2019.
