Personal Profile

Zheng Ji, courtesy name Liye, art name Chuxuan. He studied under his adoptive father Mr. Ye Quan, Mr. Wang Shujie, Mr. He Jialin, and Mr. Shi Enzhao. He is currently a member of the Beijing Fine Brushwork and Heavy Color Painting Association, a member of the Beijing Chinese Painting Association, a researcher at the Mural Research Institute of Shanxi Painting Academy, a member of the Shanxi Artists Association, director of Jiyuan Tang Art Gallery, and a signed artist of the Art Bank at the Beijing Cultural Property Exchange Center. In 2015, he held a solo exhibition titled “Mountain Colors, Water Stillness · Ink Blooms with Traces” in Guangzhou. His works received the Outstanding Award at the Fourth Shanxi Landscape Painting Exhibition and the Fourth Shanxi Fine Brushwork Painting Exhibition. His works were selected for the exhibition “Realizing the Chinese Dream, Reviving Shanxi: Celebrating the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,” the Fifth Shanxi Landscape Painting Exhibition, and the Ninth National Exhibition of Famous Masters of Flower-and-Bird Painting.
