Zhao Guiming, male, born in 1960, is from Pingyao, Shanxi Province. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Beijing Qi Baishi Art Research Association, Chairman of the Pingyao Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, Vice Chairman and Director of the Chinese Painting Committee of the Pingyao County Artists Association, Director of the Pingyao Baishi Painting Academy, and Director of the Pingyao Weishengchang Collection Museum. He studied under the renowned Qi-style painter and second-generation disciple of Qi Baishi, Mr. Zhang Yuren. His work has been included in the Cultural Ministry’s Artistic Talent Database. Zhao Guiming excels in both painting and calligraphy. He specializes in seal script and cursive script in calligraphy, and in Qi-style large-scale ink-wash bird-and-flower painting in art. His works have been exhibited in various exhibitions, including the "Shanghai Focus on Expo: Artistic Achievements Exhibition of Renowned Masters," the "Beijing Commemorative Exhibition for the 70th Anniversary of Mao Zedong's Talk at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art," and the "Shanxi Province Art Exhibition," among others. His works have also been included in multiple art and calligraphy compendiums such as *Catalog of Modern Chinese Middle-Aged and Young Painters* (Rongbaozhai Publishing House), *Chinese Contemporary Biographical Dictionary* (China Personnel Publishing House), *Expo China: Artistic Tribute Masters* (Huaxia Publishing House), and *Collection of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters* (Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House). His major honors include "Shanxi Youth Elite of the 1980s," "Expo China: Artistic Tribute Master," "One of China's 100 Outstanding Painters," and "Moved China — 2012 Artist Loved by the People." He has established the Zhao Guiming Art Museum and the Pingyao Baishi Painting Academy.
