Zhao Runming

Personal Profile

Zhao Runming, from Shanxi Yangquan City, has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood. In 1978, he joined the military and studied the calligraphy styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi. Later, he expanded his studies to the styles of Ouyang Xun, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, and Zhao Mengfu, absorbing the strengths of various masters. He is currently a member of the calligraphy association at his workplace and a member of the Beijing Chaoyang District Calligraphy Association; his works have won awards in multiple calligraphy exhibitions.
