Personal Profile

Wang Yanfen, courtesy name Yu Yi, holds a bachelor's degree and possesses a senior professional title. She has completed advanced studies at the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts Painting and Calligraphy Creation Research Program. She has studied under Masters Shi Yunxiang, Zhu Ling, Huo Chunyang, Zhou Wusheng, Liu Cunhui, Chen Ximing, Zhang Pirong, and Chen Jianming. She serves as an assistant to the导师 of the Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts Painting and Calligraphy Advanced Research Program, a direct disciple of Shi Yunxiang, and a painter in Shi Yunxiang’s studio. Council Member of the Dafengtang Chinese Painting Research Society; Member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Society; Academician of the Shanxi Branch of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting; Member of the Shanxi Artists Association; Academician of the Fushan Calligraphy and Painting Academy; Researcher at the Shanxi Wutaishan Buddhist Calligraphy and Art Research Institute; Member of the Taiyuan Calligraphers Association.
