An expert has written: "Mr. Wangzi's style of painting and calligraphy is serene and elegantly melancholic, with simple and restrained brushwork, creating an aesthetic realm reminiscent of classical poetry—ethereal and uniquely refined. While continuing the tradition of literati brushwork, he expresses, through his sensitive sensibility, a personal vitality that radiates harmony, mystery, and elegance. His innovations in aesthetic taste have rightfully secured him a place within the 'New Literati Painting' movement."
