Guo Wei

Guo Wei, also known as the Master of Zhaojian Studio, was born in 1990 in Zhidan County, Shaanxi, the hometown of People's Hero General Liu Zhidan. He is currently a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance, a member of the China Minister and General Calligraphy and Painting Association, Deputy Director of the Xi'an Dongcheng Branch of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Western Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of the China Minister and General Calligraphy and Painting Association, Academician of the Shaanxi Branch of the China Three Hundred Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, member of the China Artists Association, member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, council member of the Shaanxi Health Preservation Association, calligraphy creation master of the Beijing Renhe Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, deputy director of the Beijing Moteng Calligraphy and Painting Academy, vice president of the Xi'an Baliu Calligraphy and Painting Association, standing council member of the Shaanxi Sunshine Charity Development Center, Shaanxi Love Ambassador, senior advisor of the Yulin Hongquan Culture Research Association, ambassador of the Yulin Hongquan Culture Research Association, and specially invited traffic law enforcement supervisor of the Shaanxi Provincial Public Security Department.      Guo Wei is deeply devoted to calligraphy, specializing in large-character inscriptions and running regular script, with a style that is steady, magnanimous, and elegant. He studies under the renowned calligrapher and calligraphy researcher Master Ma Wei (Xishi). During his learning journey, Guo Wei continuously improves himself and is fond of Zen and tea. Through his own study and his master’s guidance, he has developed a distinctive and innovative style, creating works such as "Filial Piety Across the World," "Lotus Pod Washing Inkstone," "Virtue Carries Blessings," and "Dragon Roaming the World." His calligraphy exudes righteousness and flows with ease; the characters reflect his personality—simple, sincere, and honest—and have won the affection of people from all walks of life.
