Changed name to Nian, styled Guanzhong Dao Ren, born in May 1958, from Sanyuan County, Shaanxi Province. National Gift Artist, National First-Class Artisan. Currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, council member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (World Celebrity Art Research Association), vice president of the Chinese Culture Research Institute, vice chairman of the China Cultural Arts Development Federation, academician of the United Nations Peace Paintings and Calligraphy Academy, council member of the China International Calligraphers and Painters Association, art advisor of the China International Modern Art Research Center, deputy director of the China Western Celebrities Culture and Art Exchange Center, chairperson of the National Famous Artists Calligraphy and Painting Association, and council member of the Shaanxi Sanyuan Yu Youren Calligraphy Society.
