Chen Baogang, also known as Yichen, is from Xingping City, Shaanxi Province. He is currently a member of the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, Xianyang City Calligraphers Association, Xianyang City Association of Literature and Arts, Xingping City Calligraphers Association, and Xingping City Folk Artists Association.
Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about painting and calligraphy. Despite numerous hardships in his early years, he persisted with unwavering dedication, practicing calligraphy diligently even after daily labor. He initially studied the Yan style, then moved on to the styles of the Two Wangs. Over the years, he has tirelessly explored the subtleties of ancient and modern calligraphy, seeking to comprehend the rhythms of various masters, emphasizing the cultivation of skills beyond the brush, and striving to express a bold and vigorous style. He has gradually developed his own distinctive style, earning considerable praise from experts. In recent years, his works have appeared in newspapers and magazines, and he has participated in numerous exhibitions both within and outside Shaanxi Province; his works have also been collected.
