Tian Sanning

Tian Sanning: A native of Jingyang County, pen name Jia Geng, art name Master of Gengmo Studio. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and painting, and this love has only grown stronger over time. He actively socializes with virtuous individuals and visits renowned masters, traveling extensively throughout the counties of Guanzhong, carefully observing and contemplating the exquisite techniques of others’ brushwork, persistently studying and practicing, gradually enhancing his skills. He diligently copies famous ancient calligraphic models, assimilating the strengths of various schools, selecting and integrating them freely into his own style, expressing himself with ease and fluidity. He has received an Outstanding Award in the 10th National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, participated in numerous calligraphy and painting contests, consistently earning awards and commendations, broadening his horizons and enriching his scholarly cultivation. He dedicates his entire life’s passion to the sacred realm of calligraphy and painting.        Currently a member of the Jingyang County Calligraphy Association. Researcher at the Yu Youren Calligraphy Research Institute of Jingyang County. Director of the Jingyang Branch of Wendingshu Yuan, Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province.
