Wang Haili graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and is currently employed at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts as a master's supervisor and outstanding teacher. In 2006, he was sent by the government as a visiting scholar to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France. In 2010, he visited Moscow and Saint Petersburg in Russia for research. He has created nearly two thousand oil paintings, several of which have been selected for the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th National Art Exhibitions. His most representative works include the oil paintings: "Warmth" (2014), the series "Victory is Certain," "The Road to Revival – Solemn Declaration," "Strong Voice – Justice Will Prevail, Peace Will Prevail, the People Will Prevail," "The Centennial of the Xinhai Revolution," "Iron Blood Resistance: Forging the Soul of the Army – Go to the Enemy’s Rear," "The Belt and Road Ode," "The Order to Cease Killing," and "Zhu Rihe – The Spirit of the Chinese Military." In June 2015, he held the exhibition "Wang Haili’s Oil Painting Exhibition: 'Chinese Dream, Strong Military Dream'" at Banpo Art City in Xi’an, showcasing 80 works. In August of the same year, the China Revolutionary Military Museum and the Xi’an Federation of Literary and Art Circles jointly hosted the exhibition "Wang Haili’s Oil Painting Exhibition: 'Chinese Dream · Strong Military Dream,'" commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, as well as the September 3 military parade, displaying 70 works at the Military Museum. His oil painting "Tibetan Man" was selected for the 12th National Art Exhibition and won the Outstanding Work Award; it was also selected for the National Exhibition of Ethnic Minority Fine Arts (March 2016). New state gift oil paintings: "Historic Handshake Between President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Trudeau" and "Prime Minister Trudeau’s Family Portrait at the Great Wall" were exhibited at the Toronto "Belt and Road: Chinese Culture Going Global – Global Art Tour and China-Canada Art Exhibition," and received two major awards from Canadian Chinese media: the "Golden Maple" Special Honor and Permanent Collection Commemoration (April 2017). In November 2017, he became President of the Xi’an Landscape Oil Painting Society.
