Personal Profile

Zhao Junzhou, styled Xifu Yuren, master of Chongming Hall, was born in 1969 in Baoji City, the hometown of bronze artifacts. He has been passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood, specializing in detailed bird-and-flower paintings and traditional figure subjects. He furthered his studies at the PLA Academy of Arts and Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. His works reflect his personality, emphasizing emotional expression while upholding tradition with a contemporary touch, demonstrating clever构思, innovative color usage, and a deep understanding of the profound spirit of art. He is currently a member of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Forum, a researcher at the Shaanxi Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Art, and a guest artist at the Northwest Art Base. His works have won numerous national awards and are held in private and institutional collections.
