Li Yan

Personal Profile

Li Yan was born in 1964. He studied sketching during his student years, learned oil painting and watercolor in his youth, and developed a passion for Chinese painting in the 1990s. In 2004, he became an apprentice to a master, beginning his study of traditional Chinese painting in the Chang'an School, receiving guidance from renowned painter Cai Jiali and many other distinguished artists. He has participated in various provincial and municipal art exhibitions, winning multiple awards and having his works published in numerous journals.
