  Zhang Qi, courtesy names Xiangzi, Chenxiang, Dake; art name Chenyan Guiyin Jushi; Communist Party member, born in 1986 in Xingping, Shaanxi; graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, residing in Xi'an. Currently a member of the China Art Masters Association, member of the Shaanxi Ye Nong Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Society, member of the Weiyang District Calligraphy and Painting Association of Xi'an, council member of the Xi'an Tongren Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and specially invited calligrapher and painter of the Shaanxi Basha Calligraphy and Painting Academy; First-Class Artist; awarded the title of "Art Instruction Teacher" in 2017.Has been painting since childhood, specializing in Chinese figure painting, with secondary expertise in landscape and bird-and-flower painting. Deeply influenced by the Chang'an School and the Loess School, he adheres to the artistic principles of profound understanding of human nature, strict form, emphasis on brushwork and ink, and pursuit of innovation. His figure paintings are rigorous yet free-spirited, with vivid qi and charm. His landscapes and bird-and-flower works excel in small freehand style, rich in brushwork and ink, evoking a misty, poetic atmosphere. In his creative approach, he is committed to inheriting and innovating Chinese painting, upholding the Chang'an School’s principle of deep engagement with life, producing many outstanding works collected by numerous hotels, art institutes, and corporate and institutional leaders in Xi'an. He is currently dedicated to Chinese painting creation and children’s Chinese painting education and research.    Artistic Achievements and Honors:   In 2009, awarded second prize in the Xi'an regional competition of the Kaka Meimei Image Design Contest hosted by Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.   In 2015, the work "Unafraid of Hardships on the Long March" was selected for the group exhibition "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army's Long March."   In 2016, awarded second prize in the China Second Art Competition hosted by China Art Competition Network.   In 2017, the work "Happy Family" won the Silver Award in the Fine Art Category of the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.   In 2017, the work "Beauty with Flowing Hair" won the Silver Award in the Fine Art Category of the Second "Hanmo Shengshi Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.   In 2017, the work "Little Girl Carrying a Fruit Basket" participated in the First "Belt and Road" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, winning the Silver Award in the Fine Art Category, and was included in the First "Belt and Road" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Collection.   In November 2017, the work "Colorful Butterflies Are Delightful" was selected for the Tongchuan Exhibition of Outstanding Calligraphy and Painting Works titled "Health, Wisdom, and Catching Up and Surpassing."   In November 2017, received the National Social Art Level Examination Certificate for "Level 10 in Chinese Figure Painting."
