Personal Profile
Jia Xiaopeng, given name; Xiaopeng, courtesy name: Dapeng. Northwest University, majoring in Architectural Interior Design. Has loved learning calligraphy since childhood, studied under Master Xu Hao for three years. Representative works in pen calligraphy include: "Filial Piety Comes First Among a Hundred Virtues," "Ode to a Humble Abode," "Memorial to My Mother," "Eight Poems of Mao Zedong," "Snow in the Spring of Qinyuan," and "Headquarters of the Red Army." Representative works in brush calligraphy include: "Buddha," "Virtue Bears All Things," "Gentle Breeze and Harmonious Clarity," "Spirit of Dragon and Horse," and "Mountain Journey." Master Xu said, when learning calligraphy, one should not seek fame or profit. If you decide to learn, you must proceed step by step. Be bold in your work, but humble in life. Learning calligraphy is not a game—it requires seriousness, tranquility, patience, diligent practice, and studying the steles and models of ancient master calligraphers. You cannot create your own style arbitrarily, because you haven't yet thoroughly mastered the classical models.
