 Wang Wenbo was born in Chang'an, Shaanxi. He has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood and graduated from the附属 High School of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in Shaanxi. He studied under two renowned masters of flower-and-bird painting, Xiao Huan and Zhang Gao. He sought artistic guidance from Professor Wang Jinling and Abbot Shi Benchang, and furthered his studies at the Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Program of the China National Academy of Painting.     He specializes in flower-and-bird painting. His floral works are characterized by upright yet elegant styles—vibrant but not vulgar. He particularly uses ink wash to symbolize noble personal virtues such as purity, integrity, grace, righteousness, and moral steadfastness. His artworks are poetic and melodious, deeply loved by people. Due to his profound foundation in history, traditional Chinese studies, and philosophy, he believes that painters should not only provide visually pleasing works, but also inspire reflection on learning, work, and life through their art, consistently integrating a healthy outlook on life into his paintings.     Currently serving as:     Member of the Shaanxi Provincial Artists Association     Researcher at the Art Research Center of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture     Secretary-General of the Chang'an Xiangji Painting and Calligraphy Institute     Vice President of the Shaanxi Huangdu Academy of Painting and Calligraphy
