        Bai Xuesong, male, was born in 1974 and graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a member of the Shaanxi Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Weiyang District Artists Association in Xi'an, Vice President of the Calligraphy and Painting Branch of the Shaanxi Silk Road Business Corridor Economic and Trade Cooperation Association, and master of Mingquan Jingshe.
        Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and painting, and for decades has tirelessly pursued the art of painting. Building upon the foundation of traditional Chinese art, he integrates Western modern painting techniques into his meticulous bird-and-flower and freehand landscape works, infusing his creations with a contemporary artistic spirit through solid realistic skills and rich ink-and-color compositions, thereby developing a unique personal style. His meticulous bird-and-flower and aquatic insect paintings display a myriad of postures and are exceptionally lifelike, with particular expertise in peonies and lotus flowers; his freehand works emphasize classical compositional principles, masterful ink usage, and adherence to tradition without being bound by it. His freehand landscapes are elegant and refined, executed with effortless brushwork, earning unanimous acclaim from peers in the art community. His calligraphy and painting works have been published multiple times in journals such as China Calligraphy and Painting Magazine and domestic and international newspapers, and he has been honored with titles including "Contemporary Chinese Master Artist" and "Cross-Strait Virtuous and Artistic Master Artist."
Partial Work Analyses: Freehand work "Colorful Mountains of the Gorge" (4-foot scroll) was selected for the 11th Cross-Strait Masters Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in 2018 and exhibited in Taiwan; Freehand work "Again, the Spring Mountains Are Enchanting" (4-foot scroll) and meticulous work "Lotus" (4-foot square) were selected for the exhibition "Celebrating 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up: Masterpieces of Contemporary Chinese Painting by Shaanxi Artists" – Shenzhen Exhibition; Freehand work "Blessed Clouds Enter Every Home" (4-foot scroll) was selected for the 12th Cross-Strait Masters Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in 2019 and exhibited in Taiwan;
