Personal Profile

Ma Xiaolin, female, born in September 1971, Hui ethnicity, from Xi'an City. Since childhood, she has been passionate about painting and calligraphy. During her studies, she learned from Zhao Lüping, a member of the China Artists Association, President of the China Orchid and Bamboo Painting Academy, and a National First-Class Artist. She also studied flower-and-bird painting under Feng Yonghong, a member of the China Calligraphers Association and a committee member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. She particularly loves freehand-style plum blossoms and humbly studied under Master Yan Shi. Currently, she is a member of the Xi'an Municipal Artists Association (Shaanxi Province), the Shaanxi Provincial Senior Artists Association, the Dongfanghong Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the Jingwei Zhonglu Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the Zuoyou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the Changqing Oilfield Calligraphy and Painting Association, the Gaoling District Calligraphy and Painting Association, and the Weiyang District Calligraphy and Painting Association. She has won awards multiple times in provincial and municipal art exhibitions, and her works have been published in provincial, municipal, and oil industry periodicals, receiving high praise from teachers and art enthusiasts. Her works have been collected by both institutions and individuals.
