Personal Profile

Sun Ailing was born in 1968 in Fuping, Shaanxi. She has devoted half her life to Chinese painting creation, specializing in peonies and floral subjects. She has received instruction and guidance from renowned artists such as Ding Guangwei, Ye Nong, Lei Sheyi, and Ma Benxiu. She is currently a member of the Weinan Artists Association and a standing director of the Weinan Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. She also serves as an assistant to the President of the World Chinese Association. She has participated numerous times in provincial, municipal, and county-level exhibitions commemorating the elderly revolutionary leader Xi Zhongxun. For decades, she has worked diligently and explored continuously, striving to make her works approachable to the public and integrated into daily life. She pursues art as a joy of life and remains committed to lifelong exploration and innovation on the path of Chinese painting.
