Qi Jimin, male, born in 1952, is from Chang'an District, Xi'an. Born into an educational family, he has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood, frequently practicing famous works from ancient and modern times, seeking guidance from masters, engaging in plein air sketching, and accumulating experience to establish his personal style. He has frequently won awards in various painting and calligraphy exhibitions in Shaanxi and Chang'an. He is highly appreciated and collected by friends both at home and abroad. He is currently a member of the Xi'an Artists Association, a academician of the Chang'an Institute of Painting and Calligraphy under the Xi'an Yu Shu Society, vice president of the Shaanxi Institute of Painting and Calligraphy under the Chinese Overseas Association, vice president of the Chang'an Ancient Capital Institute of Painting and Calligraphy, and vice secretary-general of the Hanzhong Branch of the Xi'an Yu Shu Society.
