An Weijin, member of the Xi'an Artists Association, male, born in July 1959 in Xi'an, has been painting for over 40 years, specializing in Chinese ink landscape painting. In 1981, he participated in the first art study class organized by Liu Wenshi and Wang Xijing from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. In 1982, under the guidance of Liu Wenshi, he created works such as "Winter in Northern Shaanxi," "Loess Land," and "The Great Qinling Mountains," which won the second prize in the Shaanxi Province Youth Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In 1990, his work "The Red Army Arrives in Northern Shaanxi" received the second prize at the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions Staff Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. In 2015, his work "Red Across Mountains and Rivers" won the first prize at the Xi'an Urban Infrastructure Investment Group Integrity Culture Art Exhibition. In 2016, his work "View from the Window" was selected for the publication collection of the Second National Public Transport Council.
       Currently serving as Vice President of the Shaanxi Qinyuan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Vice President of the Xi'an Datang Yugongfang Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, and a full-time artist at Xi'an Shengmoju Gallery.
