Li Xin

Personal Profile

Li Xin, male, born in 1985, native of Pucheng County, Shaanxi Province.
Specializes in regular script calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting, with a deep affection for Chinese traditional culture. Has created works such as the Heart Sutra and Diamond Sutra for numerous teahouses and temples. Later presided over the landscape design of the Buddhist holy site, Famen Temple, and led the design of multiple Chinese-style teahouses and business clubs. Won the silver award in the 2008 Earthquake Relief Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and the silver award in the 8th Shaanxi "Talent Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2012; his works were recognized as outstanding at the 60th Anniversary National Day Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
Currently a member of the Shaanxi Artists Association, Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, and the Shaanxi Branch of the China Big Character Calligraphy Association.
