Xu Qiang, male, Han ethnicity, currently 51 years old, is from Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province. In 1989, he was admitted to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, where his works won the first prize in the National College Student Painting and Calligraphy Competition. Since graduation, he has been engaged in art education; his numerous oil and watercolor paintings, characterized by strong artistic merit and innovation, have been exhibited multiple times at provincial and municipal levels and received widespread acclaim. His painting style exhibits a very distinct personal identity. His oil paintings depicting rural themes have achieved high artistic accomplishments.
