Guo Yongjie, originally named Guo Baolin, pen names: Baitouweng, Molin, Xuebaishi. Born in 1957 in Xi'an, male, Han ethnicity, university educated. Currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, Shaanxi Yu Youren Calligraphy Association member, Shandong Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association member, Beijing Huaxia Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Academician, Vice President of the Landscape Painting Academy of the Great China Celebrities Painting and Calligraphy Society, Vice President of the Great Unity Painting and Calligraphy Society, Vice Chairman of the New Northwest Painting and Calligraphy Association, Executive Deputy Director of Langting Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Special-appointed Teacher at the Calligraphy School of Chang'an University, and Correspondent for the Shaanxi Station of the "Calligraphy Newspaper".
Since childhood, he studied painting, calligraphy, poetry, and literature under the guidance of his parents. After 1980, he studied painting and calligraphy under Zhong Mingshan, Wu SanDa, Liu Haoran, and Li Guang, and furthered his studies at the Chang'an Calligraphy Correspondence School and Wuxi Art College, systematically and comprehensively learning the arts. He also closely followed the works of ancient and modern masters of painting and calligraphy, developing a distinctive personal style with profound skill, widely appreciated by both high-ranking individuals and grassroots art groups. He has created many extraordinary works using diverse expressive techniques. He has participated multiple times in provincial and national painting and calligraphy exhibitions, winning awards, and his works have been collected and acquired by numerous institutions and organizations. He personally founded the San Yi Art Training Center, cultivating a large number of artistic talents.
