The China Calligraphy and Painting Collection Research Institute evaluated his works as follows: “Through studying your calligraphy, we observe a calm and composed use of ink and composition—masterful yet seemingly simple, expressive and spontaneous, with brush following inspiration. From afar, your works appear vigorous, plain, substantial, and unrestrained; up close, they reveal an elegant, natural, and fluid visual charm. This charm enables even those unfamiliar with calligraphy to sense the majestic momentum and ancient elegance within, achieving the highest realm of appeal to both refined and popular tastes.”
