Qu Changhai, male, Han ethnicity, was born in 1957 in Xinmi City, Henan Province. A member of the Communist Party of China and a renowned contemporary Chinese calligrapher.He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association; a member of the China Buddhist Artists Association; a member of the Henan Provincial Calligraphers Association; and Vice Chairman of the Xinmi City Employees Calligraphers Association.
Mr. Qu Changhai’s calligraphy integrates running, cursive, clerical, and seal scripts, synthesizing the essence of masters from the Wei, Jin, Tang, and Song dynasties into a unique style characterized by ancient simplicity, grandeur, elegance, profound wisdom, and apparent simplicity. He has perfectly fused the formal beauty of calligraphy with the humanistic spirit, earning high praise from professionals and enthusiasts alike.
