Personal Profile
       Han Mingbao, also known as "Shan Stone Man," is from Tai'an, Shandong Province, born in 1967. He holds a graduate degree and is a National First-Class Artist, a State Gift Artist, a Council Member of the Chinese Painting Society, a Research Fellow at the Central Institute of Literature and History Art Academy, a Member of the Chinese Ink-and-Wash Painting Association, and a Research Fellow at the Beijing Huaxia Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Art Research Institute. He serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Painting and Calligraphy Working Committee under the China Cultural Management Association, Executive Editor-in-Chief of the magazine "China Art Review," Assistant to Master Wang Peidong at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, Honorary President of the Shandong Branch of the China Longtu Huan Yu Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Honorary President of the Beijing Northern Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and Mentor at the Master Studio of "China Art Review" Magazine.
 
       He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2010 and subsequently from the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts in 2012, where he remained as an assistant to Master Wang Peidong. He studied under the renowned contemporary master of large-scale ink-wash flower-and-bird painting, Wang Peidong, specializing in Chinese ink-wash flower-and-bird painting. His ink paintings have been exhibited and awarded numerous times at national-level exhibitions, and have been displayed in solo and touring exhibitions in countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Italy, as well as at the China Art Museum and the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts Museum. Many of his works have been collected by major domestic and international art museums and galleries—including the China Art Museum, the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, and Rongbaozhai—as well as by central state institutions such as the Great Hall of the People and Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, and by national leaders. Over one hundred of his works have been published in national publications including the People's Daily, China书画Bao (China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper), Meishu Bao (Art Newspaper), and Fine Arts Magazine, and have been included in anthologies such as "Collection of Masterpieces by Chinese Painting Masters," "Selected Works of Contemporary Chinese Painters," "Fine Collection of China Poetry, Painting, and Calligraphy Exhibition," and "Masterpieces of the China International Painting and Calligraphy Competition." His biography has been recorded in major reference works including "Contemporary Chinese Painting Masters with the Highest Appreciation Potential," "Essentials of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Talent," and "Who’s Who in World Chinese Literature and Art." He has published "Collection of Han Mingbao’s Paintings" and "Collection of Han Mingbao’s Chinese Paintings." In 2020, China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper featured a special edition titled "Appreciation of Han Mingbao’s Chinese Paintings."
