Zhao Chenglin (Art Name: Chan Yi), painter and calligrapher of the China Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art, National First-Class Artist, and member of the China Calligraphers Association. He has practiced calligraphy since childhood, raised in an environment rich with masterpieces of painting and calligraphy from his family collection, which has cultivated a high level of artistic cultivation and the ability to authenticate the genuineness of paintings and calligraphy. He later became a disciple of Master Sun Qifeng and was fortunate to receive guidance from Masters Shen Peng and Jiang Baolin. After a decade of dedicated study and refinement, his works have now developed a distinctive personal style and have gained wide recognition within the art community. In 2019, he was awarded the title of “Artist with the Highest Collection Value” by the China Academy of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art, along with a certification of pricing standard: Paintings: RMB 2,000–3,000 per square foot; Calligraphy: RMB 1,000 per square foot; Seal Carvings: RMB 1,000–2,000 per square inch.
