Zhang Xinbang, pen name: De Zhi, was born in 1968 in Wucheng County, Shandong Province. He is currently a National First-Class Calligrapher and a renowned Chinese calligrapher of the realistic school. His calligraphy works are expansive and grand in style, well-composed, skillfully inked with vibrant tones, elegant and refined, exuding the traditional Chinese values of truth, goodness, and beauty, conveying to viewers a majestic and inspiring spirit. His works are highly appreciated by calligraphy enthusiasts both domestically and internationally, possessing significant aesthetic and collection value. Due to his accomplishments in calligraphy, he has been appointed as director or deputy director of multiple calligraphy and painting academies, and has participated numerous times in national and provincial calligraphy competitions, winning awards.

In 2016, won the Excellence Award in the 2nd National Ten-Thousand-Person Calligraphy Competition;
