       Liu Jigen, born in 1971, is a member of the China-U.S. Artists Association, a council member of the Shandong Artists Association, vice chairman of the Jining Municipal Artists Association, and vice president of the Taibai Lake District Artists Association in Jining; a researcher at the China Landscape Painting Research Institute, and a professional painter at Guanfu Academy and Shandong Confucian Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In 1987, he entered the Qilu Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute to study flower-and-bird painting; in 1990, he was admitted to the China Academy of Fine Arts to comprehensively study Chinese painting. His works have been exhibited numerous times domestically; "Qu Yuan Walking and Chanting" won the third prize in Shandong, and "Music and Dance" won the second prize nationwide. He has published art collections including "Yuanmeng Yaji," "Rencheng Confucian Calligraphy and Painting Academy Collection," and "Ren Cheng Literature and Art." The painting "Everything Pure and Clear" is collected by the Chen Jiageng Memorial Hall, and "Looking Up to High Mountains" is collected by the Confucius Research Institute. His works have been collected by numerous domestic and international entrepreneurs and friends, and many pieces have been published in provincial, municipal, and national publications. He has created landscape paintings that blend profound traditional heritage with contemporary vitality. His works have been repeatedly collected by domestic and international entrepreneurs and friends.

On the morning of July 28, 2019, the First Linyi City Masters Calligraphy and Painting Charity Auction was held at Yijinhui.
	
This calligraphy and painting charity auction event was organized by the Linyi Municipal Charity Federation, the Shandong Academy of Painting, and Zunshangge Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and hosted by Baiyi Cultural Tourism Industry Group and Jinyibao (Shandong) Auction Co., Ltd.
	
The auction invited 26 renowned calligraphy and painting masters from across the country, including the distinguished realist artist Professor Liu Jigen. All exhibited and auctioned artworks were independently created by the artists, comprising a total of 232 pieces, including 222 ink paintings (landscapes, figures, and flowers/birds) and 10 calligraphy works.
	
At this auction, Professor Liu Jigen’s works received exceptional attention from collectors worldwide. After intense bidding, prices rose steadily.
