Zhang Hualun

    Zhang Hualun, from Qingzhou, was born in August 1964. He is currently the Secretary-General of the Qingzhou Calligraphy Academy, a member of the Shandong Provincial Calligraphy Association and the Shandong Provincial Artists Association, and a member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association. He is also a National Second-Class Artist. His works have been exhibited and awarded at various levels.
          Since childhood, he has had a profound love for painting and calligraphy, practicing daily without interruption, excelling in regular script, cursive script, official script, and seal script. He has absorbed the strengths and essences of ancient stele inscriptions, integrating them seamlessly, and organically combining the abstract beauty and imagistic beauty of Chinese calligraphy; his ink painting style is unique, ethereal, and substantial, rich in rhythm. Building on a solid foundation in traditional techniques, he fully utilizes his creative imagination, incorporating modern aesthetic sensibilities with the rhythms of traditional art, thus forming a distinct personal style. He is a highly accomplished contemporary calligrapher and painter, widely collected and admired by people from all walks of life.
