Wan Jipeng, also known as Wan Jipeng, styled Feixiang, with the art name Molin Jushi, is from Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. A military painter specializing in traditional Chinese ink and color painting using cinnabar pigments, he is a master of Yi Xue (I Ching) and Feng Shui. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Shandong Institute of Arts and furthered his studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1998. Recognized as a National First-Class Artist, he is a specially designated artist for state gifts to foreign dignitaries by the Zhongnanhai Office, holds lifetime artistic status, and is a direct disciple of Qi Baishi’s lineage and a favored student of Li Keran. His official market valuation by the state is set at RMB 30,000–32,000 per square foot. He has long been engaged in the research and creation of Chinese painting, accumulating rich experience; his works have been repeatedly selected for national exhibitions and have won numerous awards.
He currently serves as Vice President of the Beijing Oriental Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Executive Director of the Beijing Ocean Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Member of the China Artists Association, and Council Member of the Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Society. He is also an officially registered Chinese painting researcher under the Ministry of Culture.

In 2008, his four-panel screen painting "Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Chrysanthemum" won the Gold Award at the Contemporary Chinese Hundred Masters Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition;
After the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008, he auctioned multiple works and donated RMB 830,000 to disaster-stricken areas;
In 2010, his work was selected for the 16th Asian Games Master Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and won the Gold Award;

In 2013, he participated in cross-strait art exchange activities in Taipei; his peony painting was collected by former Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou, who took a photo with him;
In 2014, his painting "Rising Sun" was collected by the President of Sri Lanka;
In 2015, more than twenty of his works were issued by China Post as a limited-edition series of artist-themed postage stamps worldwide;
In 2016, he was invited for an exclusive interview on CCTV's program "Artists' Appointment" and appeared at the Calligraphy and Painting Channel's Spring Festival Gala;
In 2017, prior to the Spring Festival, he visited and gifted two paintings to the Flag Guard Unit; his landscape painting "Majestic Toward the East" was hung on Tiananmen Gate;
In 2019, he was appointed as a National Gift Artist by the Zhongnanhai National Gift Art Center;
In 2021, his work "Majestic Toward the East" was auctioned on Artron.net for RMB 498,000.
Wan Jipeng actively participates in charity auctions and donation events, having donated over 500 artworks and received the title of "Heartfelt Artist" on multiple occasions.
