Personal Profile

Cheng Lejing, born in November 1971, graduated from the College of Fine Arts at Shandong Normal University. She is an art teacher at the Central Primary School of Huanghe Road Subdistrict, Dongying District, Dongying City, Shandong Province, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, a member of the Shandong Women’s Calligraphy and Painting Association, and a director of the Dongying City Artists Association. In September 2015, her work “Cry” won the Excellence Award at the “Dahai Cup” – Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War. In September 2015, “The Sound of Blooming Flowers” was selected for the “Hanmo Qilu” Academic Flower-and-Bird Painting Exhibition of Shandong Province. In December 2015, “Drunken Butterfly” was selected for the 19th Shandong New Artists and New Works Fine Art Exhibition. In September 2015, “Qicui Liudan” won the Fifth Huanghekou Literature and Art Award of Dongying City. In December 2016, “Frost and Dew Condensing Fragrance” was selected for the Third “Boundless Spirit” Harbin Biennial Exhibition of Fine Arts, hosted by the China Artists Association. In June 2017, “The Sea Turns into Song Without Words” was selected for the Second National Chinese Painting Exhibition on “The Spirit of Beihong,” hosted by the China Artists Association.
