Personal Profile

Zuo Yongwen has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. During his teaching career, he frequently engaged in publicity work — writing blackboard newspapers, producing wall newspapers and columns, painting slogans and wall characters, as well as creating banners and event titles. Through these practical activities, he realized that different content and occasions require different styles of calligraphy. Therefore, he enjoys imitating various scripts, particularly favoring clerical script and running script. He especially loves observing and imitating the handwriting of renowned masters. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, winning dozens of awards. He is currently a member of the Rizhao Hard-pen Calligraphers Association and a member of the CETV Ink and Wash Painting Academy.
