Personal Profile

Xu Hongyan, styled Wenqiu, 46 years old, has studied calligraphy for many years and is currently a council member of the Qingdao Peony Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute. In 2017, he won the Silver Award at the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Celebrating National Day and Welcoming the 19th CPC National Congress, hosted by Shibei District Cultural Center in Qingdao. In October 2017, he received the Grand Prize in the 10th National Calligraphy and Painting Competition organized by China Art Network.
