Jin Xiuran, from Jinyuanjia Street, Ju County, Shandong Province, was born in 1963 and holds a university degree. He is a member of the Ju County Calligraphers Association, a member of the Rizhao City Calligraphers Association, and a council member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association. Born into a scholarly family, his grandfather Jin Xingchi was a renowned calligrapher in Ju County during the Republic of China era. Influenced by his family environment from an early age, Jin has had a deep passion for calligraphy. For over thirty years, he has consistently practiced and studied famous works by masters such as Wang Xizhi, Sun Guoting, and Zhao Mengfu. He excels in regular script, running script, cursive script, and clerical script. His regular script is dignified, elegant, and appreciated by both connoisseurs and the general public, forming a unique personal style. He served as a chief editor for "The Great Canon of Ju Culture," was an invited calligrapher at the Zhongyuan Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and held the position of guest professor at several painting and calligraphy academies in Beijing. His works have been included in the "Dictionary of Masters in Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art" and he has been awarded the honorary title of "Master in the Art Circle of China."
