Personal Profile

Fang Hongjian, born in 1963 into a ceramics family, began working in ceramic painting in 1980. He furthered his studies at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting University, apprenticing under the renowned painter Li Houshan. His works have been exhibited in national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and have been included in publications such as “Classics of International Calligraphy and Painting Masters,” “Collection of Works by Contemporary Chinese Masters,” and “Postal Albums of Contemporary Chinese Artists Along the Belt and Road.” In 2014, he was invited by CCTV, Shenyang TV, and Hangzhou TV to create landscape paintings. He currently serves as Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Shandong Branch of the China Contemporary Artists Association, Standing Director of the Linyi Artists Association, Director of the Linyi Oil Painting Art Committee, and is recognized as one of the most influential artists online.
