Began studying traditional Chinese painting at age 7; at 13, joyfully became a disciple of Mr. Ma Enyuan, inheritor of Qi Baishi’s style, and commenced learning the Qi school painting techniques. Under his direct guidance, I have devoted myself wholeheartedly to painting for nearly thirty years and gained modest insights. I specialize in painting fish, frogs, shrimp, and crabs. Adhering to tradition, reading ancient texts, and seeking instruction from masters—these are my personal motto.
In spring 2014, participated in the CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Competition; the work “Group of Shrimps” won the Outstanding Work Award and was broadcast multiple times on CCTV’s “Calligraphy and Painting Channel”.
