    Zhang Yunxiang, studio name Jirui Studio, male, born in 1962, native of Laiwu City, Shandong Province, holds a bachelor’s degree and the professional title of Economist. Currently a member of the Shandong Calligraphers Association, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association, Vice President of Laiwu Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Academician of Laiwu Taidong Academy, and Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Fellow at Changsha Yunhai Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Holder of Level 1 Certificate in Calligraphy Grading Examination issued by the China Calligraphers Association. Graduated in July 2014 from the Advanced Research Class on Art Theory and Calligraphy & Painting Creation at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University — Specialized Calligraphy Research Program. For many years, he has devoted himself to studying the running and cursive scripts of Wang Xizhi, Sun Guoting, Zhao Mengfu, etc., and is a steadfast follower of Wang Xizhi’s elegant and fluid calligraphic style. His calligraphy features smooth brushwork, graceful character forms, vigorous strokes, well-balanced composition, and harmonious variation in character size. His works have been repeatedly selected and awarded in national and provincial calligraphy exhibitions and competitions.
