Pan Mingqing, male, Han ethnicity, Mao-style calligraphy artist, native of Feicheng, Tai'an, Shandong, born in 1950, with a college education, National First-Class Artist, currently residing in Beijing.

Since childhood, he has practiced copying Chairman Mao’s calligraphy and portraits, persisting for decades until achieving mastery. His works have participated in large-scale national calligraphy gatherings and major events commemorating Chairman Mao’s birthday. His Mao-style calligraphy pieces ("Qinyuanchun," "The Long March," "Manjianghong") have won gold medals and first prizes. His works have been collected by the Great Hall of the People, CCTV, the Propaganda Department of the Hunan Provincial Committee, national leaders, foreign friends, overseas Chinese, former cadres and veterans who once worked alongside Chairman Mao, and numerous collectors who admire Mao Zedong’s calligraphy.
Artist’s Mission:To promote Mao Zedong Thought, never forget the original aspiration, always remember the mission, and ensure that the red cultural heritage is passed down from generation to generation and flourishes!

At the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March, President Pan delivered a speech on behalf of national artists and calligraphers at the conference.
