Personal Profile

Guo Weifeng, Daoist name Guo Ziyong.Shandong Binzhou native. Studied painting since childhood under the tutelage of Chinese artist Guan Yihong, China’s “Invisible Man” Liu Bolin, and Li Zhendong of the Chinese Ice and Snow Painting School. Ordained as the 16th-generation disciple under Daoist Master Ma Shiran of the Wudang Mountain Sanfeng Sect. Currently serves as painter at Wenbao Studio, specially appointed painter at Binmei Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Shandong, contracted painter at Fuya Xuan Gallery, and calligraphy and painting instructor at Pingzi’an Daoist Temple in Shandong. Specializes in painting insects, immortals, and Buddhist deities.
