Zhang Junling, courtesy name Jinling, art name Haiyue, was born in Weifang in 1961. She is a senior teacher at Linqu Longquan School. Passionate about painting since childhood, she has been engaged in art education for over thirty years and graduated from the Fine Arts Education Department of Shandong Normal University. She studied for more than three years under the renowned bird-and-flower painter Mr. Gao Qingtao, and later systematically studied the traditional Chinese painting styles of ancient masters such as Wang Mian, Zou Fulei, and Lu Fu, drawing widely from their strengths to develop her own artistic style—ancient yet vigorous, full of vitality and classical charm—which has been highly praised by many renowned artists. She is currently a member of the China Art Masters Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a member of the Weifang Artists Association, and a director and senior calligrapher-painter at the Jiangxi Provincial Humanities Calligraphy and Painting Academy. In 2012, she won the Grand Prize at the All-Military Joint Exhibition and was awarded the title "Contemporary Patriotic Chinese Artist"; in 2013, she received the Gold Award at the 3rd "Yanhuang Cup" International Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition, and her works were included in the Collection of Masterpieces by Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Artists.
