Personal Profile
Chen Xiumei, Manchu ethnicity, from Haicheng, Liaoning in northeastern China. She graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Fine Arts College at Southwest Normal University and further studied at the Wang Wenfang Studio at the Beijing Academy of Painting; member of China Artists Association; national first-class painter; professional painter at the Ningxia Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.

1992 National "National Defense Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition; "Returning Home" won an Excellence Award;
1999 Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, "A Thousand Cliffs Compete in Beauty" won a Bronze Award;
2000 National Painting and Calligraphy "Yaojixing Cup", "Spring Charm" won an Excellence Award;
