Li Shufa

Li Shufa, pen name Yunhui, was born in December 1953 in Boxing County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. He has loved painting since childhood. After entering the education field in 1971, he thrived like a fish in water, earning an associate degree in art education through self-study and serving as a professional calligraphy and painting teacher in middle schools for over 30 years. He has trained and mentored more than a hundred art-specialized students. He was once awarded the titles of County-Level Outstanding Teacher and County-Level Art Subject Leader. After retiring in October 2009, in order to continue contributing and pass down the art of calligraphy and painting, he established Yunhui Calligraphy and Painting Art Education. Simultaneously, he began learning the painting techniques of "peonies" through online video tutorials from masters of traditional Chinese painting. From 2011 to the present, he has specialized in freehand-style peonies for seven years and has taught numerous students how to paint peonies. His personal artworks have frequently participated in various competitions and received awards, and requests for his paintings have increased steadily. He wishes for the "national beauty and heavenly fragrance" to endure for generations. In 2019, Yunhui Calligraphy and Painting Art Education was authorized by relevant national departments as a National Children's Art Skills Assessment Center. The Education and Training Center of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute approved him as a Calligraphy and Painting Art Education and Training Committee Member and Calligraphy and Painting Art Education and Training Instructor.
