Personal Profile

Xie Yuming, male, native of Chiping, Liaocheng, holds a bachelor’s degree. Currently, he is a member of the Shandong Calligraphers Association, a member of the Shandong Painting and Calligraphy Exchange Association, Secretary-General of the Liaocheng Youth Calligraphers Association, and a contracted artist of New Shandong Net. He has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood, having studied over thirty different stele inscriptions and model scripts. He began learning regular script from the styles of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Yan Zhenqing, and Ouyang Xun, and later focused on cursive and running scripts by studying masters such as Huaisu, Mi Fu, and Wang Duo. He later received instruction from the renowned calligrapher and scholar Mr. Yu Maoyang, benefiting greatly from his direct guidance. Building upon tradition, he strives for breakthroughs and innovation, gradually developing his own distinctive style—unconstrained by ancient conventions, pursuing an ethereal, unrestrained, and naturally fluid aesthetic. His works exude elegance, depth, and an aura of antiquity.
